2011 Biobootcamp Presenter

Michael Artinger, Ph.D.
Director, Fitzsimons BioBusiness Partners

Dr. Artinger brings a unique combination of business and scientific experience to help create value for life science companies.  He has worked as a biotechnology entrepreneur, executive, and business development professional.  He is currently the Director of Fitzsimons BioBusiness Partners, and previously served as CEO/President of Nanodisc, a venture-funded drug delivery start-up.  

Prior roles include Acting CEO of Keystone Biomedical as well as increasingly senior positions at Genome Therapeutics, Decision Resources, ActiveCyte and Documentum.  Michael earned his doctorate in biology at the University of California at Irvine and did his postdoctoral work at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
