Fitzsimons Redevelopment Authority
Vicki Jenings is Director of Business Relations for the Fitzsimons Redevelopment Authority, a governmental authority charged with the responsibility of overseeing the redevelopment of a former Army base into a life science district. Ms. Jenings’ responsibilities include marketing, leasing and operating the Bioscience Park Center and the Bioscience East buildings located in the Colorado Science+Technology Park at Fitzsimons.. The 60,000 square-foot Bioscience Park Center focuses on creating an environment that supports bioscience companies as they grow within the research park community, and the 25,000-square-foot Bioscience East building houses more mature life sciences entities.
Vicki serves on the Board of Adams County Economic Development, the Colorado Business Incubation Association and the Rocky Mountain Institute for Real Estate Management (IREM) as well as many other task forces and committees dealing with economic development and the bioscience industry. In addition, she has been invited to present on biotech property management at several conferences including the National Business Incubation Association.
Vicki has been involved in commercial property management in excess of 15 years, and has earned the designation of Certified Property Manager ®. Additionally, Vicki’s knowledge of the biotech industry along with her business degree and relevant property management experience, both at Fitzsimons and her previous position as executive director of the Denver Design Center, provide her an understanding of working with a tenant base focused on a specialized industry.
