John (Jack) Wheeler
Chief Executive Officer at iPDx BioSciences

Mr. Wheeler currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at iPDx BioSciences where he brings 35 years of business experience in the biomedical and diagnostics fields to the Company, while also advising it’s wholly owned subsidiary ASDx Biosystems Inc. in business development. Previously, Mr. Wheeler founded MicroPhage, Inc., a clinical diagnostics company that provides a rapid, cost effective diagnostic system for the detection of bacteria and their susceptibility to antibiotics.  

Mr. Wheeler founded Xtrana, Inc.(NASDAQ:XTRN), a molecular diagnostics company specializing in a novel method of nucleic acid extraction and detection of pathogenic bacteria.  Mr. Wheeler served as VP of Sales, Marketing and Business Development at Xenometrix, Inc. a molecular toxicology company. During his tenure he was significantly responsible for bringing the company public as (NASDAQ:XENO), from 1993 to 1997.  From 1987 to 1992, Mr. Wheeler served as Director of Operations and VP of Sales and Marketing for Charles River Laboratories.

From 1974 to 1987, Mr. Wheeler held positions in sales, marketing and strategic business planning both in the United States and Europe with Becton Dickinson Company. Mr. Wheeler currently serves as Chairman Emeritus of the Colorado BioScience Association.  Mr. Wheeler has an Executive MBA, International Finance degree from Pace University, and a B.A. From University of Bridgeport in Pre-Med Biology.
